Locappy Review Do you know the Gloucester Old Spot, the Saddleback and the Large Black? No? Well, the big easy does. These rare pork breeds are renowned for their high quality taste and they’re simply the best when it comes to barbecue that stands out from the crowd. The Big Easy cares about proper ingredients, and they start right at the beginning, with organic meat that has been ethically and locally raised. At this restaurant you’ll also find steak, shrimp and lobster of the same impeccable quality. Don’t let the old school Southern country charm fool you - The Big Easy chefs are serious BBQ connoisseurs. There’s a special devoting each superstar to its own day of the week: Barbecue on Monday, Shrimp on Tuesday, Hog Roast on Wednesday (comes with a free brew) and steak and lobster on Thursday. For just £20, you get a lobster fest of Canadian hard shell lobster - available every day of the week. Be warned that the bar tends to fill up quickly, so it’s best to plan a big party, book early and then take your time. If you have more than 10 guests, management will put together your own special party menu and make sure everyone has a really good time. You cold hire out whole sections of the restaurant and enjoy the live jazz and blues with a cocktail in hand to hit the evening off. Come with a party crowd and grab a few bar bites before taking the evening elsewhere, or make it a family affair and tuck into a choice of ol-fashioned American BBQ classics like pulled pork, molasses-marinated ribs, slaw and good beer.
Google My boyfriend treated me to dinner here for valentines day and it was perfect. We started with the garlic bread, both chose the Sirloin steak sandwich with chips for main, and finished with an oreo milkshake and a peanut m&m milkshake for dessert. The portions were definitely generous and the food was so nice that we made room for the milkshakes after - they were worth the pain! An amazing restaurant if you want great food, quick service, nice staff and a fantastic evening :)
Google We had a Sunday dinner at Big Easy in Chelsea. The food was tasty and fresh but nothing special. But I would suggest to be careful with paying your bill. Have a close look at it- they include 12% service charge (which is a lot already as the food is expensive there) and when you want to pay by card, the hand held card payment machine asks if you want to leave any tips! So if you're no careful, you will end up paying tips twice! we are not planning to go there anytime soon!
Google Sunday the 16th of Feb lunch. I ordered the squid which was baby squid, I expected squid rings, it was OK, I wouldn't order it again. (i may not have read the menu properly) For the main I ordered the BBQ ribs 1/2 rack, as the full rack was not available. The meat did not fall off the bone the BBQ sauce was fair to poor, Lucky the full rack was not available. The kitchen staff need to go to Sticky fingers in South Kensington or TGIF to see what ribs should be like. DO NOT ORDER THE RIBS. The others in the group ordered the voodoo chicken wings and steaks, they were happy with their meals. So suggest you order these over the squid and the ribs.
Google Like diners? You will love Big Easy. Inspired by crabshacks – those casual beach restaurants specialised in seafood and American classics dishes – this address has won the heart (and stomach) of both locals and passers by on King's Road. Just a look through the window at those fabulous plates and you are hooked. 20 years of success and customers licking their fingers. Decoration is simple and it is all part of the charm. It has this warm and friendly touch from the south of the US - the colours, the sense of humour, the welcome, the menu with home-cooked food and excellent prices. People relax instantly - no need to pretend, businessmen get rid of their tie, families share combos, friends cheer to a beautiful day spent together. A whole mix of people brought together by the atmosphere.
Google You're guaranteed a good time at Big Easy! The first time I came here, I was blown away by the 'Milkshakes for Grown Ups' (I recommend the Dirty Girl Scout!) and then fell in love with the 500 % Extra Meaty 'Big Easy Cut' Bar-B-Q Prime Belly Ribs. These ribs were succulent, juicy and immensely satisfying. I also admired the care taken in the side dishes - the macaroni cheese was creamy and a great accompaniment. The service was fantastic and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The second time I came here, we were here for the Big Pig Gig - all you can eat BBQ. Of course, this shows Big Easy's great value for money! However, I found the BBQ ribs this time around a bit lacking and we also noticed that the service was very slow. We still had a good time, but it was a bit underwhelming. All in all, I recommend Big Easy to meat lovers. Try and aim for a quiet week night, when service is likely to be more reliable.
