Where to Watch the NFL Super Bowl XLIX 2015 in London

American Football has been making its way over to the UK for several years now, with NFL teams coming to London to play their season games in the Wembley stadium. Now the Super Bowl, which is such a huge event in the US, is making more and more noise each year as places plan to show the event in a growing number of bars across London. Whether you enjoy American Football or not, this is going to be one big event with drinks and food you don’t want to miss. Here’s a list of places to watch the Super Bowl XLIX between the New England Patriots v Seattle Seahawks on the 1st of February:



Following on from their successful NFL launch party last year, Frankie’s Sports Bar and Diner are at it again to host the NFL Superbowl. Already equipped to show major English Football matches, Frankie’s has 12 big screens around the restaurant and bar to view the game. Promising a night of fun, it will involve plenty of beer, American food and many games and competitions – which will have opportunities to win rounds for you and your friends. There will also be a running raffle and everyone who attends will receives a entry into the raffle, making this spot a great place to watch the NFL Superbowl while also having some fun!

This may not be the most American-like place to watch the NFL Superbowl in London, but Zigfrid are excited to hold this annual bash again. The night will be filled with burgers, cold craft beers and of course, American Football. This funky little spot has two floors of wide screen viewing, multi screen set up and surround sound, which will start from around 8pm until the end of the game. Best thing about going to Zigfrid for the Superbowl is that the entry is free!

The NFL Superbowl party is back at Jetlag Bar as they are looking for a great way to end the American Football season. Having just hosted a screening for the NFL Draft picks, Jetlag are already prepared for the Superbowl showdown. Beer lovers can look forward to a whole range of American brews including great tasting beers. The two rooms are the Lotus Lounge which has 5 screens including 15ft cinema screen + 4 Large LEDs and the Green Room which has 5 screens including 60″ & 48″. Prices are as follows:

American flavour mixed with British behaviour. You can’t get much more American than a Honkey Tonk, which normally comes with rowdy, loud country music and drinks flowing all night. This spot in clapham will be hosting the NFL Superbowl with free entry and will be open until the game ends. Honky Tonk will have 5 screens available for the game and if you get there early enough you can catch Happy Hour (5-10pm) which means beers are £4 a bottle. American foods such as chicken wings will be served throughout the night, making sure you don’t go hungry while watching the NFL Superbowl in London.

Take your pick from any of the Belushi’s bars (London Bridge, Covent Garden, Shepherd’s Bush) as they will be showing the NFL Superbowl 2015. The party will be kicking off from 10pm till 4am with some Superbowl victories on the big screen before the big game live. Of course, an American menu will be served throughout the night that includes a mountain of Nacho’s, chilli cheese fries, buckets of chicken wings, Belushi’s homemade chilli burgers, and lots and lots of beer. To avoid missing out on this event, a £5 advance ticket is recommended.

 Enjoy the NFL Super Bowl with a little pre-bowl game before the big final. After a sold out success with the NFL Superbowl last year, Bloomsbury Bowling lanes are going bigger with opening a whole venue across 3 floors and showing the game across even more HD screens. They’ll have the best in American food, pool, 3 beer pong tables, karaoke, and some of London’s best DJ’s and unique entertainment throughout the event. Roadtrip & The Workshop

Inspired by Route 66, this American Diner is located just a few minutes from Locappy’s home <3. Watch the NFL Superbowl at Roadtrip’s with their famous homemade burgers, pizzas and ice cold beers. Party will start at 7pm and end with the game.

The Draft House at Seething Lane has caught the Superbowl fever and plans to have a massive party to celebrate it. They will be showing the whole game on their Monster HD screen – which they claim can be seen from outer space, ha! In their true style the burgers, dogs, bourbon and buckets of ice cold American beers will be flowing all night. Doors open at 7pm, while the live bands kicks everything off at 9pm. Seating has already been sold out, but there are still a few standing seats available – so get those while you can.

Last but not least The Social. This place is extra special because its a fundraiser, in which every penny raised from the ticket sales goes to SCI – a harity that helps the world’s poorest populations by eliminating the poverty sustaining and life-threatening effects of schistosomiasis and intestinal worms. Every £8 ticket will help 16 young people – amazing! So why not celebrate and watch the NFL Superbowl 2015 for a good cause? The event will take over two floors, both with big screens, DJs, lots of craft beer and the best hotdogs in London.
