With the winter Holiday season coming to an end, unfortunately that means the same for all the winter festivals, markets, ice rinks and Holiday cheer. While most the ice rinks close on the 4th of January, a small few will remain open until February, because after all, it is still technically winter. Heres a list of Ice Rinks open until mid Jan/February…
CANARY WHARF ICE RINK
Skate your way through a glistening skate path in this beautifully-lit trail in Canada Square, off the main ice skate rink. Soak up the remainder of the festive season around fairy-lit trees leading to the Big Blue sculpture, to make you feel like you are truly in a winter wonderland. Q-Grill will also be serving up some delicious wintery food and drinks to keep you warm on a cold night.

This circular ice rink may not be the most festively-decorated ice rink, but that certainly doesn’t mean you can’t have a blast at Broadgate Ice. This rink will be joined up by luxury pop-up restaurant and bar, The Tasting Room, which will be sure to serve you up a nice winter treat. Now in it’s 29th year, this makes Broadgate Ice London’s longest running ice rink.

SKATE @ SOMERSET HOUSE
This ice rink is only open until the 11th of January, so if you manage to catch this in time, it’s is definitely one to visit. Located in the courtyard of Somerset House, this beautifully festive ice rink is teaming up with the famous Fortnum and Mason to provide luxurious and yummy treats such as champagne and other F&M goodies. Depending on the day you visit, Ministry of Sound hosts club nights @ Somerset House, so you can skate the night away.

ALEXANDRA PALACE ICE RINK
Unfortunately the 3 ice rinks above conclude our list of ice rinks open until mid Jan/Feb, but we couldn’t leave you with such a short list and with Alexandra Palace we’ve found an ice rink open all year round! Continue with the wintery season by skating in one of London’s most iconic landmarks. The ice rink is indoors and is the biggest ice skating rink in London, fitting in 1250 people!
