Locappy Review If you really love the 1950s American diner atmosphere, then pay a visit to Mishkins in Covent Garden. Serving typical American dishes like Mac ‘n’ Cheese, Sliders and Hot Dogs, combined with Jewish pastrami, latkes, and a little bit of Middle Eastern cuisine. It’s featuring classic red-leather banquettes, black and white tiled flooring, and a naked-brick wall. “A kind of Jewish deli with cocktails”. Duh!
Google Went to Mishkin's after going to the theatre so it was nice and quiet! The food was brilliant - probably the best macaroni cheese I've ever had, and the fried chicken and slaw was amazing. Plus they have an extensive gin menu, and great gin cocktails. Atmosphere was lovely even though it was quiet. Definitely going to go back!
Google This was my first venture into Jewish-American deli food, and what a wonderful way to do this - small plates of everything to sample. We tried the beef sliders, half & half (half chips, half onion rings), and the eggplant and lentil salad - I loved them all. Such a great experience and a winning way to eat out with friends.
Google Was pleasantly surprised by this little restaurant. I came here on a Thursday, and found the fried chicken juicy and delectable. My party also enjoyed their sandwiches and sides. Recommended for a quick bite if you're in Covent Garden.
Google Reliably good food. Interesting menu. Perfect for lunch.
Google I went to this place twice. Both times, service was very friendly. My second time there was kind of an enjoyable meal, but it just wasn't quite as enjoyable as the first one. Starters were lovely but my main course : Reuben (pastrami, sauerkraut, pickles and mustard on rye bread) was a disappointment as the meat came apart and the rye tasted a bit burned.
Simple Jewish comfort food and cocktails in a carefully conceived, 'unfinished' boho chic space.
